I would recommend if you are considering living off base to live in the city of Sedalia. It is about 30 minutes from Warrensburg where Whiteman AFB is located. There is a lot to offer in the city. First this city is best known for the city the hosts the Missouri State Fair every year. Watch for the $1 day. Lots of items from corndogs to parking priced only $1 that day. Second the schools are really good. If you are looking for a good parochial school St. Paul's Lutheran is the best kept secret of this city. Great school and very affordable.
